Alexander is a loner in his late 30's, and
Helena his individual girlfriend.
One evening where jealousy puts trust to the test Alexander initiates a game
of William Tell in a drunken state.
The memory of this night leaves Alex haunted as he tries desperately to run
as far away from himself and his memory as possible.
As Alexander runs away we recall their tug of war relationship, an intense
and dark romantic love that is filled with complexities, fears and insecurities.
Though is Alexander's breakdown based on fact or delusion? As Alexander stands
on a footbridge recalling the final minutes of the last night he spent with
Helena we witness him shoot her, he stands over a busy urban freeway teetering
on the edge of suicide his eyes close and he falls in a state of breakdown
and physical exhaustion.
But what happened that night and what didn't? We now see Alexander lying on
the footbridge after his fall slumped and unconscious - fate unknown, Helena
appears at the entrance of the bridge troubled and at first relieved to find
her Alexander.
She runs to him and breaks down holding her man on the footbridge as the heavy
traffic flow just continues underneath them.
