3D CGI Animation Short Film Acid Sun   15.11.2006

ACID SUN has received funding green light from the AFC, reuniting AEROSOL animator Rodney March and producer Karel Segers. Rodney is directing his own screenplay, which has been developed with Karel's assistance.

THE MORTAL COIL is one of only ten Australian projects at SPAAmart 2006, which is rumoured to be 'the strongest yet'. The script was developed with producer Karel Segers as a story/script editor. Karel attended SPAAmart in 2003 with PUPPY.

The world's first 24/7 short film channel Movieola has purchased LOVESONG through world sales agent Sydney Neter at SND Films in Amsterdam. Neter had co-financed the film through a distribution advance.

Australian broadcaster SBS has acquired the rights to show AEROSOL in its new weekly one-hour short film compilation program SOS (Shorts On Screen) on late Saturday nights.
     
Rouser Multizine   24.03.2006

The inaugural ROUSER-multizine and DVD features the short film AEROSOL in full length. A review on their web site drops such names as Jeunet and Caro, which references we surely don't mind. AEROSOL combines live action and animation and was funded by the NSW FTO Young Filmmakers Fund.
     
Coogee Arts Festival   19.02.2006

AEROSOL returns home from its international film festival tour to snatch the 3rd prize and $1,000 cash at the Stinkwater Short Film Festival. This concludes a great run of no less than eighteen (18) festival screenings over nine months for this OZZYWOOD Films production.
     
Puppy   07.02.2006

PUPPY screens at the Barbican Centre in London on Friday 3 March, as part of the London-Australian Film Festival. The feature film was co-produced and scored by OZZYWOOD's Karel Segers, who also acted as a story-editor / script-editor on the screenplay.
     
Return to Port Davey   10.01.2006

Watch RETURN TO PORT DAVEY on ABC Television, Sunday 5 February. The documentary by James Middleton tells the life story of three crayfishermen and was co-produced with OZZYWOOD Films.
